We are thrilled to share news that marks a milestone in the history of Matarranz. The iconic home linen brand, founded in 1911, has opened its first shop outside Madrid — in a spectacular space at Calle San Marcial 20, San Sebastián.
Designed by renowned architect Pablo Paniagua, the shop blends classical elegance with unique touches, such as a small collection of Scandinavian and Italian furniture from the 1950s and 60s. Every detail of the design respects the essence of Matarranz, offering visitors an experience that goes beyond the ordinary.
Miguel Matarranz, great-grandson of the founder and current director of the company, sought to create a space where quality, tradition and innovation meet, offering the residents of San Sebastián the opportunity to take a piece of Matarranz’s history into their homes.
