At Matarranz 1911, we are home textile manufacturers with our own workshop in Madrid since 1911. A well-designed bedroom is not improvised. The textiles specified by an interior designer for the master bedroom of a residential project must respond to the exact dimensions of the bed, the fabric that fits the design criteria of the space, and the consistency between the different pieces that make up the ensemble. A supplier working only with a standard catalogue cannot provide that level of response.

The textiles used in a residential or hotel project have three requirements that standard retail cannot meet: exact measurements, consistency between spaces, and the ability to replace items in the future without variations.
Beds in high-end residential projects are rarely standard. A mattress with a 30 cm topper, a 160 cm bed with a built-in low headboard, or a 200 cm suite bed with bespoke dimensions require a fitted sheet made for that specific bed, not one adapted from a generic size. The same applies to duvet covers, flat sheets and pillowcases.
At Matarranz 1911, we manufacture to the exact measurements provided by the professional. Our bespoke bed linen includes fitted sheets with calibrated pocket depth, flat sheets with the exact drop required, and covers made to the proportions of the project. No last-minute adjustments on site.
A high-end residential project cannot have the master bedroom in Egyptian cotton percale and the guest bedrooms in a different fabric that is immediately noticeable upon entering. Consistency between spaces — the same fabric, the same weight, the same finish — requires a manufacturer capable of producing everything within the same production batch and archiving the specifications for future replacements.
Matarranz 1911 maintains a record of every project. When a client replaces a piece two seasons later, the new item is identical to the original.
Some residential projects incorporate personalised elements: embroidered initials, a specific border design, or a colour outside the standard collection that responds to the project’s colour scheme. Matarranz 1911 works with these specifications before confirming production and validates the result with the professional before manufacturing the full run.

Presentation of fabrics through physical samples: The interior designer or decorator selects from real fabric samples. Complete technical information is provided, including composition, weight, washing performance and colour options. Professionals can visit our Madrid store at Lagasca 21 or request samples to be sent.
Specification of measurements and finishes: Using the exact project measurements and the selected fabric, all details are confirmed before production: fitted sheet pocket depth, flat sheet drop, duvet cover closure type and table linen finishes.
Validation sample: Before manufacturing the full production run, a sample is produced so the professional can validate the result. No order is confirmed without this approval.
Project batch production: All production is manufactured within the same batch. Consistency is guaranteed across every piece, regardless of the number of bedrooms or spaces within the project.
Archiving and replacement: The specifications of each project are archived. Future replacements are identical to the original order.

Can you manufacture bed linen to the exact dimensions of a bespoke bed or one with a topper?
Yes. We manufacture to the exact measurements provided by the professional: fitted sheets with calibrated pocket depth for mattresses of any height, flat sheets with the exact drop required for the bed, and covers made to the proportions of the project. For mattresses with toppers exceeding 25 cm, it is recommended to specify the total height before production.
Can you coordinate textiles across multiple bedrooms to ensure consistency?
Yes. For projects with multiple bedrooms, we manufacture the entire production run within the same batch to guarantee consistency of fabric, tone, and finish across all pieces. The result is that the master bedroom and guest bedrooms present exactly the same textile appearance, with no perceptible variations.
Is it possible to incorporate embroidery or personalisation into the pieces of a residential project?
Yes. For residential projects, it is possible to incorporate embroidered initials, specific borders, or finishes that respond to the project’s design criteria. The design is validated with the professional before the full production run is manufactured. This option is available for bed linen, table linen, and bath linen.
